Frisson Comics was formed in 2016 by Thomas Smith and Katie Whittle to publish our comics collaborations including Take Only Photographs, Leave Only Footprints and The Trade as well as Solo projects such as Katie’s Foxglove Woods and Call of the Copse and Tom’s The Residents.

Soon after publishing our first book we also launched the first issue of Knock Knock, an open submission zine designed to showcase the best up-and-coming artists and writers working in the horror genre. After over 20 issues it is probably Knock Knock that we are best known for.

In 2023 we were extremely excited to collaborate with Erika Price alongside 17 other artists and writers on Blobby Horror – an anthology zine exploring the truly horrific nature of Mr. Blobby.

We’ve currently been working as full-time artists, comic makers and editors since 2021 and are excited to be working on a number of future projects that we can hopefully share with you all soon!
